These images show several iterations of a new participatory theatre work we have had the immense pleasure of co-creating. Directed by Zöe Barry, and with Drop Bear Theatre, Jed Palmer and Renate Henschke. The work is inspired by and is also co-directed by Östen Burkum - Östen is 9 years old and lives in Minnesota, USA. Through early workshops, Melbourne children have been helping us to find out more about the intriguing world of these Tiny Things and the stories, senses and relationships to be found within it. In 2018, even more was uncovered and the collection grew steadily at every edge! - The Boy Who Loved Tiny Things spent quality Summer holiday time at The National Herbarium of Victoria and The Australian Garden, Cranbourne. Thank you to The Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria for having us!

The creation of The Boy Who Loved Tiny Things has been supported by the ArtPlay New Ideas Lab, enabling artists to develop new work for children and families.
